Hi!  My name is Maria and Cielito Lindo is my store.

I've always been inspired by the colors and textures of Colombia, especially the coastal areas around Cartagena where I would spend time as a little girl visiting family.  There is a strong tradition of weaving on the coast, especially with the material known as "cana fletcha."  The hats, baskets, and jewelry made of this strong cane material are very particular to the coast, and I started Cielito Lindo in order make these beautiful items accessible to all.

I am based in Medellin, Colombia and I run this store with my son Lucas who lives in the United States.  Together we've crafted a small library of some of our favorite "cana fletcha" bracelets for purchase, with more items to come in the future.
